We only stopped for a night, but even that brief stay left a good impression. The hotel is tucked away in the forest, and despite the winter chill the room felt warm, welcoming and cosy. A tiny cat met us at the door, which was a sweet, unexpected touch.

The bungalow sits in a quiet part of the resort and the location is handy for getting around. The only drawback is the lack of tea‑and‑coffee facilities inside; you have to cross the car park to the main restaurant just to make a drink.

The location is exceptional and the whole property feels very spacious. It’s fully equipped for cooking your own meals, has a dance area, a sound system ready for a party, and the rooms stay nicely warm.
