The evening meal and staff were good, but there was a huge amount of litter outside that had been there for a long time, the room window was dirty, breakfast was limited and didn’t offer an omelet, there was no lift, and it was not as good as other Bastions I’ve stayed at, especially Geleen and Brielle; I had planned to stay in Dordrecht for 20 nights in November, but I’ve changed my mind.

The price‑to‑quality ratio is solid, yet breakfast after 08:00 was disappointing; many items were already taken and you had to ask if they wanted to restock. The air‑conditioning and climate control made a lot of noise.

The rooms were filthy, even trash was found under the bed. The receptionist accidentally swapped rooms, so the next day one staff member had to sleep in the “dirty” bed that belonged to another colleague.
