The staff were extremely kind and pleasant, the location was ideal for our day trips, and we could even opt for half‑board even though we hadn't booked it beforehand; cleanliness was excellent. There were notice boards with many World War I artifacts that made a museum look jealous. Breakfast was great, as was dinner. The hotel accepts dogs and is a typical family‑friendly establishment. The property feels a bit dated, so a refurbishment could help. The bathroom had a small shower with a partially broken shower head. The single windows in the room left me puzzled about comfort in winter.

The family‑run atmosphere makes you feel comfortable from day one, and Dario, Sophj and the whole staff are friendly and approachable; the location is strategic, and the breakfast and dining are excellent.

The owner is very kind, and the half‑board restaurant is truly great; the breakfast is rich (not just a single brioche), and the dinners are well‑crafted with excellent dishes, both first and second courses, especially the meat which is always superb.
