“Très beau lodge”
The room was beautiful, spacious and comfortable in a lovely setting. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the dinner was excellent. The hotel was ideally located near the south gate of Ishasha. The only downside was the different standards between cottages, especially in the bathrooms.
“2 Dezelfde kamers kamers geboekt, heel groot kwaliteitsverschil”
The lodge set in the park was attractive and its restaurant offered several decks that let you dine in privacy, and we enjoyed a gorgeous luxury room. Our kids, however, were placed in a very basic room that lacked the promised balcony, even though we paid the same amount for their accommodation. When we arrived, nobody seemed to know we were coming despite having received two emails the day before confirming our arrival. After walking around the park for about an hour, we returned to find the rooms finally ready. The staff kept staring at us from three metres away while we ate; it may be part of their service, but it felt extremely uncomfortable to be watched constantly. The shower is heated with fire, which left a lingering smoke smell in the room throughout the night.
“Inoubliable !”
A warm welcome and outstanding service greeted me, and the food was superb with an unforgettable canopy view; thanks to the whole team for their kindness and smiles!
“Hübsche Lodge, aber es könnte noch besser sein.”
The rooms were nice, but there was no Wi‑Fi. The food was good, but the lions were right outside. The lodge failed to inform guests about this. For the price, I didn’t find it justified.
“Personal inmejorable y ubicación excelente”
The staff were extremely attentive and pleasant at all times, paying close attention to detail (they left a good‑night note on our pillow during dinner). The room was spacious and there were several common areas. Vegetarian and vegan options were available. We met the chef, who adapted the menu with tasty homemade food. Breakfast was generous, and dinner was candlelit. The location was excellent, just 5 min from the entrance of Ishasha at Queen Elizabeth National Park. Everything was very good.
