We stayed for one night and it was spot on. The location is close to Mere for food and drinks, and the DIY breakfast was great with plenty of good products. The hosts were wonderful and we’ll definitely return if we’re in the area. No complaints.

Madeleine was lovely and the view from our ground‑floor bedroom was amazing, with horses, chickens and sheep all around. The DIY breakfast worked well, letting us pick bacon, eggs, cereals, yogurt, or a combo. I appreciated the rustic, artisan vibe and the effort she puts into everything—just like me. The bathroom door was noisy and the bed wasn’t as comfy as home, but the place was cheap and cheerful; if you want five stars, pay for it.

Breakfast was a self‑serve setup with plenty of good quality items in the fridge. Thanks for that. A TV would have been nice—since not everyone (me included) would have brought entertainment, and I wasn’t told the room’s TV only played DVDs. Thanks.

Madeline gave us a warm welcome and showed us to our room. The view of the surrounding countryside is spectacular. Sharing the house with the owners and their family made us feel like part of the family. The DIY breakfast was amazing, with everything we needed and eggs from their own hens. The room only had a DVD player, no live TV, but the view and the fresh coffee were enough. Thank you.
