Hotel Torre di San Martino

The resort was beautiful, the bistro was open in the afternoon, we left before breakfast and received a sandwich, but the chapel was unfortunately locked.

The ambience was very nice, and the rooms were well sized and well furnished; we booked two rooms for us and our children, the sanitary facilities were outdated, the children’s bathroom had a foul smell from the drains, the bar closed at 20:30, we had dinner in Parma and looked forward to a digestif in the historic building, but when we returned around 21:15 the place was already closed, which was a pity.

The location was splendid, a peaceful oasis especially in spring and early autumn; the outdoor morning breakfast was excellent, the rooms were tasteful with antique furniture, the underground parking was convenient, and dinner was at the nearby Locanda del Falco; everything was fine.

“Purtroppo aspettative non rispettate.”

Indubbiamente la posizione. Ho prenotato due camere per me e i miei figli, la numero 2 e la 6, purtroppo in entrambe le camere abbiamo riscontrato problemi, nella numero 6 l’aria condizionata non funzionava e perdeva acqua tanto che al mattino c’era una pozza d’acqua sul parquet. Il condizionatore era veramente vetusto! Nella numero 2 lo sciacquone dell’acqua non funzionava correttamente e l’acqua scendeva facendo rumore tutt’al la notte. Non mi aspettavo in un albergo di questa categoria di trovare tali disservizi. A seguito delle mie lamentele mi è stato fatto uno sconto. Alle 9,30 sono scesa per colazione e molte cose erano finite e non sono state rimpiazzate… come il pan carré ( 1 sola fetta rimasta) e la frutta
