Everything we needed was there, parking was easy and the location great, the hosts were lovely, the dormer bedroom was spacious and quiet, the self‑serve kitchen was open all the time for snacks and drinks with continental breakfast, it was very clean and I would recommend.

The hosts gave a lovely welcome and showed us everything; the family room was spacious, cozy, comfortable, and had plenty of storage. The beds were very comfortable, and there was a comfy sofa and chair. The TV had freeview channels, and the large windows opened with blinds. The Wi‑Fi was great. The decor was lovely and the place was clean. The bathroom was very spacious with a big shower, and there was a large fan in the bedroom. We could use the kitchenette with a kettle, tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, a fridge, and two microwaves. Breakfast was a self‑serve spread with 6 or 7 cereals, fresh pastries, toast with butter, jam, marmalade, peanut butter, and Nutella, cereal bars, breakfast biscuits, flapjacks, packed pancakes and waffles, yogurts, and juices. There was a quiet area and a short walk to town. It’s the best guest house we’ve ever stayed in. Highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay; we’d stay again. No complaints.

I stayed one night for a wedding nearby and the ground‑floor room had a double, a single, a chair, an ensuite, tea/coffee supplies, a mini‑fridge, a hairdryer and a TV; a tall fan was also in the room, which was a lifesaver in the heat, and it smelled fresh when we arrived. Upstairs a small kitchen let us grab toast, cereal, pastries and biscuits for breakfast, and the hosts were lovely and had everything we needed.
