I had to admit that my holiday at OLAGI 2 turned out to be a real disappointment. First off, the dish we were promised was only 1/5 Nguyễn Đình Chiểu, not the 34 Sương Nguyệt Ánh we expected, which cost us extra taxi money to find it. Even more shocking was the room itself: it was smaller than advertised, the door screen and bed sheets were dirty with yellow stains, the furnishings were old and torn, and the toilet was filthy to the point of being disgusting. On Monday we lost water until after 10 pm, and when it finally came back we had to wait for hot water and even boil water in a pot to shower. The hotel uses direct water without a storage tank and relies on solar-powered hot and cold water, which caused the frustration. The staff were unhelpful and even denied responsibility. If we hadn’t booked in advance through Booking and paid upfront, we would have checked out immediately. Over the 7‑day stay we never saw housekeeping come by, and only when we asked did they clean. Daily water and coffee were not provided; when requested, staff brought water of unclear origin (apparently made in-house). In short, this hotel was terrible, and even worse. Everyone should be careful before choosing this place. If the staff had spoken politely, taken responsibility, and fixed the issues, the experience could have been better.
