“Lovely place to stay with a pool”
We did not go to the mill because the owners had moved; instead we went to Razette Pepprina, the new accommodation. The location and the house were perfect with so much character – the local restaurants and bars in the square were amazing and the church so beautiful with great transport links around the island. There was nothing to dislike – aside from the building work nearby, which cannot be helped, and the noise levels were manageable.

Ein wunderbares Frühstück und aufmerksame Gastgeber, die uns bei allem geholfen und uns tolle Tipps gegeben haben, was wir sehen und unternehmen können. Diesen Ort werden wir auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!
“Room and breakfast - with lovely hosts.”
Joachim and Bettina were very helpful throughout our stay at their new accommodation Razzett Pepprina. Joachim collected us from our accommodation in Marsaskala to bring us to Gozo, Xaghra, he then drove us to Valletta to the ferry. This was done at a reasonable cost and was very helpful. We had breakfast every morning meat the pool with fresh fruit, cheese, meats, eggs and a fresh juice and coffee. The room was at the top of the house and had a roof terrace area. The airconditioning was very good and needed for this time of year. We really appreciated every effort Joachim and Bettina put in to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The room is big and has a single pull out chair that becomes a bed where our son slept. The beds were comfortable. The swimming pool was very refreshing especially after a day of walking around in the heat of summer. My only concerns with the property is that I thought we had access to the kitchen and lounge area of the house which we did not. This meant we had to spend a lot more on eating out and we did not have much space to store food for a week in the small fridge in the room. There is no facilities in the room to sit down and have a meal so any takeaway meals had to be eaten out on the terrace which was very hot or down near the swimming pool. I believe this place can be described as the genuine bed and breakfast because this is what you get. We loved spending time with Coco the cat!. The description for the property needs to be worked on. There is no access to the kitchen or lounge. There is no kitchenette in the room, there is only a small fridge, a coffee machine and a kettle. There is no cutlery or plates only cups and glasses. No cooking facilities available. No food storage available. In the website facilities include a washing machine, this is available but at a cost per load. We could not get access to any of the tv channels, Netflix or YouTube. Joachim tried to help us access the system but in the end we watched the world cup games in German
“Ein wunderschönes Haus und tolle Gastgeber!”
The house is beautiful, located centrally yet pleasantly quiet, the room was cozy, fully equipped, and the hosts are excellent. I felt at home immediately and could enjoy my vacation to the fullest. The beaches Ramla Bay and Marsalforn Bay are within walking distance, and nearby there are some restaurants/bars and supermarkets. I actually stayed at Razzett Pepprina, because the booking was originally for The Old Mill, so I can only leave the review here.
