The food, both dinner and breakfast, was superb, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Though the room was small, it had all modern facilities, a nice decor, and a comfortable bed. The location and parking were ideal for a function at Prested Hall, just a 5‑minute drive away. The downside was the traffic noise right outside the bedroom windows—an old building with single glazing—so I didn’t sleep well.

The staff were friendly and made sure everything was correct, and I can’t praise them enough. The meals at the restaurant were excellent and the service was good. The only issue was that traffic noise was a bit loud, making it hard for me to sleep, though earplugs would have helped; my husband was fine after taking out his hearing aids. This review was written by the wife.
