I found a great hostel right in the old city, and the staff were super friendly and helped me check in early without any hassle. I booked a 4‑bed female dorm and ended up having it to myself for two nights because there weren’t many other guests. The dorm was clean and roomy, with curtains on the bed, large drawers that could lock my bags, and a washroom that was clean and spacious enough. The AC worked well. The hostel had a colourful, social vibe, a cosy open common area, and a gorgeous rooftop where you can sit and chat. Game nights and movie nights happen often during the busy season, which is fun. I was able to extend my stay another two nights without any problems, and I’d definitely come back next time I visit Udaipur. The price was great for the facilities and quality of the hostel.

Asif Bhai is a really good sport and a wonderful host, and the place is worth multiple visits; I cannot diminish the essence of this beautiful place with my limited vocabulary.
