The property was stunning, the setting was peaceful yet close to the lifts and restaurants in Madarao, the hosts were wonderful and kind, making us feel like staying with old friends. The food was excellent, and we’d suggest trying at least one of the dinners. It’s intimate, cozy, and stylish, with two cool pups and extra snow shoes for trail and lake exploration. We loved the stay, but recommend a 4WD or AWD car for winter trips in Madarao.

Everything was simple and authentic, thanks to Justin and Kaori, making us feel like visiting friends. The large lobby with a fireplace relaxed me completely, and the dogs Juno and Tito added to the charm. Kaori’s cooking was truly exceptional; we had two chances to taste it—so flavorful and lovingly prepared, a dream. Don’t forget to try her homemade cola. I’ve rarely felt so sad to leave a place like this.

We enjoyed an amazing stay at Onpoint! From the first contact everything ran smoothly and felt like home. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, and the beds were incredibly comfortable. My boys liked the slopes at Madarao, just a 15‑minute walk to bars, restaurants, and the slopes, even in snow. A tip: book the home‑cooked Japanese dinners—they were fantastic. We loved it and will return. There's nothing to dislike.

Cosy and homely feel, just what we were looking for to unwind for a few days. Justin and Kaori are very sincere hosts and sensitive to guests' needs. Good sized rooms with ample heating and super comfortable beds. Meal were delicious and something to look forward to every day. Good and quiet location, in the woods slightly away from the village but still very accessible. Juno & Tito were an extra bonus ;-). It's really hard to find anything not to like! Maybe the bathrooms could be a bit bigger, but Justin already mentioned he is working on modernizing them
