The spot was great for strolling into the old town and there were some really lovely nearby spots too. The room was huge and had character, with double bathroom sinks that were good for a couple. However, there was confusion about keys on arrival and the host had to do a virtual check‑in, which wasn’t ideal. The room itself lacked comfort; despite its size, a sofa would have been nice for relaxing. The rooms are quite old and could use a refresh to bring their history to life. The bed was very uncomfortable because the mattress has a dip. No tea or coffee was provided, and single‑use toiletries were left out with no recycling options. The balcony was all rusty, so it couldn’t be enjoyed. For the price paid, comfort was lacking and the whole entrance and room really need attention to reach standard.

“Gorgeous old house near old town”

The place sits just a five‑minute walk from both the sea and the old town, and the room was huge and comfy with a terrace. The bathroom was a bit small, but it worked fine.

“Nice and comfortable rooms excellently located”

The spot is close enough to the main sights and the train station to walk, and the beds were very clean and comfortable. One of the rooms lacked a power card, so we had to use a credit card instead.

“This is an amazing find!”

The location was central, and as a group of six we had all four rooms to ourselves, each one exceptionally large. The vibe felt like a quirky old palazzo, which we really enjoyed. Late check‑in was smooth and hassle‑free. We never met the host or any other staff. On the downside, there was no breakfast; we had a kettle but no tea or coffee. One bathroom was very small for the bedroom size, and the toiletries were subpar—minor issues, but worth noting. We never encountered any staff at all.
