The hotel’s architecture and the neighborhood were nice, but the overall standard fell far short of expectations. The lobby bar was constantly crowded with non‑guests, making it impossible to sit comfortably. The breakfast room was dim and uncomfortable. One of the elevators was out of service on the first day. My room was also uncomfortable and wasn’t cleaned during one of the days I stayed. They offered a 50 CAD discount for this oversight, which is only 8 % of the nightly rate. One evening the restaurant was closed because of a private event, and the noise from the party echoed through the entire hotel late into the night.
