The only decent part was that the sheets and towels were clean. The rooms could have been cleaner; they were broken, had dirty cupboards, the air‑con was loud and needed servicing, the toilets had running water and the taps were insufficient, there was not enough cutlery and plates, bowls were dusty everywhere, and even the mirrors had to be cleaned before they could be seen. A thorough deep clean and repaint would help.

Unfortunately, from the moment we checked in, it was an unpleasant experience. Motel attendant greeted us with no shoes on and hardly said 2 words to us. Room was very dirty, TV did not work, no gauze on the bathroom window( and the fan did not do a thing). Hot water cut in and out while showering ( from boiling to freezing in an instant). Actually a bit dangerous. Damaged cord meant we could use a lamp. Rubbish behind the beside, found when trying to plug in a charger. The smoke alarm low battery sound started at 3am, we had to reach it and take the battery out and then place back in again to get it to stop…. all in the middle of the night
