“お食事はおいしかった。温泉はちょっと残念。”

お食事は大変美味しかったです。お部屋も広くて快適、景色も綺麗でした。 また車なしだったので、バス停のすぐそばで、地獄めぐりもすぐそばで便利でした。. 露天風呂に入ったものの、お湯がゆだってしまいそうなくらい熱すぎて、水で薄めようにも３−４メートル離れた水道の蛇口まで熱すぎて辿り着けず、急いで別の階にある露天ではない普通の女性風呂に移動しました。そちらはやっぱり熱かったものの、すでに先客の方が水で薄めてくれていたのでなんとか入ることに成功。こちらは水道の蛇口が湯船に入ってすぐの場所にあるので、なんとか大丈夫でした。でも熱くて長く居れなかったので、欲を言えばもっとゆっくりとお湯に浸かっていたかった。自然の源泉掛け流しなのは良いですが、熱すぎて入れないのでは意味がないですね。 それからチェックイン時間よりかなり前に到着したため、スーツケースを預かっていただいたのですが、雨の日で濡れたままずっと廊下に置きっぱなしだったのが残念でした。ちょっと拭いてくれも良さそうなのに、、、と。 施設はかなり古いので”ザ昭和”のつくりで、ロビーからエレベーターに行く際に少し階段があるので重い荷物があると不便です。

Great spot right in the center of Unzen, the room was clean and roomy, and the traditional Japanese breakfast was solid. The onsen were spotless and well arranged, and there were no complaints.

“Un lieu chargé d’histoire avec un onsen super”

The thermal water is amazing—directly supplied to the hotel, hot, and the outdoor baths are enjoyable. The location is perfect for a short walk around Unzen to see the hot springs on foot. The attached parking isn’t open to guests, the windows and rooms need a decent cleaning, and the historic building could use some renovation.
