No positives. The staff were indifferent; on the first day of check‑in nobody was at the desk and calling the number listed on the booking site got no reply. Inside the bathroom I found two empty bottles attached to the wall, presumably for soap and shampoo, but both were empty and I had to ask for replacements. When they arrived I couldn’t tell which was which, so I ended up buying soap and shampoo at 7‑11. Anyone who wants a receipt for tax deduction will be disappointed because the hotel can’t issue one. The room was not very clean; the pillow had yellow stains and the shower head was rusted.

This is an excellent place to stay, conveniently located near all the shops and restaurants. While renting a scooter is recommended for easier access to various attractions, there are plenty of dining options within walking distance. The room is nice, with a comfy bed, and the shower has great water pressure. The establishment is named Pool Villa, which may be a bit misleading as it does not actually feature a pool
