The shuttle never answered the phone or picked me up, so I had to pay $36 for an Uber after more than 20 minutes of trying to reach them. The room was damp and humid, which caused the shower to trigger the smoke alarm, and there were no dehumidifiers or fans to dry it out. When I asked the manager to contact me—there was no manager on duty—no one ever did. The outlet plates were hanging where they should have been plugged in, the bathroom panel between my room and the wall was missing, and the elevators were still broken even after a year. Some front‑desk staff were very helpful, but one person’s attitude was unclear.

The free airport shuttle and the walk to Ralphs and fast‑food spots were great; the room was roomy with a comfy bed, and the laundry facilities were solid.
