The property is about a three minute walk on foot to Estes Lake and the golf course with 100’s of elk.The view from the bedroom window was amazing Room 231!!. When we arrived there was a cup, a diaper, and garbage in plain view between the night stand and bed. There was a hairtye in the floor and bathroom in the middle of the room as if no one bothered to pick them up. I didn’t complain, we were there one night but it did feel like someone had zero cares about cleaning. “Don’t look under the beds” is what my husband said as we were leaving. Apparently no one cleans there ever! For one night. yes it was okay. But someone should be cleaning up After the cleaners 😳 The desk staff were friendly And enthusiastic. Elk were at the balcony on day 1. Views were phenomenal and breakfast was good/hot/yummy! This place has huge potential to be great. but the cleaning takes a toll when you enter a room to someone else’s hair and garbage everywhere
