The hotel is magnificent, and I was lucky to receive an upgrade; the post‑colonial décor stays true to its charm, and the staff are extremely helpful, though the breakfast could have been a bit more bustling.

The hotel itself is a beautiful building in a large, quiet park close to Nawalgarh’s center and the havelis, and the kindness of the general manager, the chef, and other staff is evident, but a few plumbing issues arose, the staff switched our rooms, and afterwards everything was fine; however, regular maintenance of the building should be ensured.

The reception staff are kind (though a little obsequious), and a specialized mention goes to Parvez Ali for his friendliness; the building’s exterior is pretty, but cleanliness is lacking (the wellness room and restaurant are dirty, with stained rugs and sofas), and the room itself is not up to the advertised price.

Everything from décor to rooms, dining, ambiance, and the pool is great, but the meal options could use a bit more variety.

The location is great, breakfast was acceptable, and the room was comfortable and spacious, but an advertised massage service listed at 1500 was actually charged 2000 rupees and the staff insisted the old rate was still valid; they kept pushing a QR code and asking for feedback at every turn, which was annoying, and the pool was not very clean.
