The place was clean, very welcoming, the pool was small but spotless, loungers and towels for the pool were included. The on‑site bar had normal prices. The location among the mountains was fantastic; I’d definitely come back.

It was the best stay of our Madeira trip! Breakfast was varied enough and of good quality and taste, the pool area is lovely with great views, nice and peaceful, and the staff are friendly. The gym and sauna felt like a bit of an afterthought. The sauna didn’t get as hot as you’d like after a hiking day. For a quiet area the road is surprisingly noisy; if you’re in the block of rooms that borders the road, which we were, it also makes your balcony not super usable as it’s essentially on the road, but no big deal since the pool area is much nicer. Cars come fast around the corner, so be careful when coming out of the drive!

The room was nice and clean. The pool was small but lovely, and the breakfast was delightful. It was a pity there wasn’t much to do outside the pool area, just a tiny bar, and even there nothing interesting to do.
