The hotel “Зелений бір” in Буковель was fantastic and made us want to come back! From the bottom of our hearts we thank the staff for being so friendly, attentive, sincere and kind. It feels like guests are treated as people, not just customers, with care and warmth, which creates such a pleasant and cozy atmosphere. I especially want to thank them for the incredibly tasty food – the portions were huge, fresh, homemade, filling and very delicious. The chefs cook generously and with love! After such portions you definitely won’t feel hungry. We left extremely satisfied with our holiday. It’s nice when, after a trip, you’re left not only with beautiful photos of the Carpathians but also warm memories of the people who welcomed you. Thank you “Зеленому бору” for hospitality, tasty food, great service and wonderful atmosphere! We definitely recommend it and would happily return again!

The place was quiet, clean, had tasty breakfasts and good home-cooked meals, but the smoke from the pipes, construction noise, incomplete breakfast, and small portions for men were disappointing.

We’ve stayed at “Зелений Бір” before and spent several days again. The staff were polite and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the furniture is noticeably worn and needs updating, the toilet’s overflow was broken and we couldn’t fix it during our stay, we asked for a better balcony but it wasn’t granted, and the room was right next to the stairwell. Early in the morning, when staff cleaned stairs from the first to third floor, the noise was a big disturbance to rest and sleep. The kitchen was also an issue – the food felt too greasy for us, though that’s a matter of taste. The hotel’s surroundings don’t really support a peaceful break – we wanted more coziness and places to relax. Also, the road to the hotel is a steep climb, which can be inconvenient, especially for children, guests with luggage or people who find such inclines hard. Overall, the hotel has its strengths, but updating furniture and plumbing, and paying more attention to guest comfort would make the stay much more pleasant.
