The rooms were lush and the staff made us feel at home from the start. The beds were amazing and we could leave them as we liked. Rooms were cleaned and sorted while we were out. The breakfast was just wow. No negatives to note.

“Pleasant accommodation if you aren’t worried about anything fancy.”

Breakfast was amazing, the facilities were clean though not fancy, and the staff were friendly. The room was very hot, the shared bathroom was downstairs and used by all rooms in the property, and as a single female I wouldn’t recommend walking from the centre of town.

“Home away from home”

The hosts were extremely professional yet friendly. I stayed there with my whole family and it felt like home, with everything we needed. Wish we had stayed longer.

“very good value but cramped!”

Friendly hosts and great value, plus solid wifi and a very comfy bed. I had a slightly larger room last time, but this stay was in the cramped attic where I kept bumping my head on the TV. The space has a fridge, a microwave, a large bin, a desk and a chair, but it’s hard to use them all because of the tight layout. Removing the microwave and fridge and moving the TV to a safer spot would help; the desk and chair are useful. The stairs are steep and narrow, so watch out.

“Comfortable and Refreshing”

a comfortable, welcoming place to stay We chose Woodville Lodge definitely a very special B&B Our room was spotlessly clean, beautiful soft cotton bed linen Toilet and shower immaculate. The Decor is delightful. We were very comfortable enjoyed a peaceful night's sleep Our Hosts Christine and Ron are the perfect hosts. Breakfast was amazing 1 full English and one Vegetarian. Beautifully cooked and served Fresh Fruit was very welcome
