“In Reckahn sollte man mindestens einmal im Leben gewesen sein”
We originally planned to stay here together on a layover, but the colleague fell through. I can only recommend the house. The place is especially worth it if you’re interested in history; the village became internationally known thanks to Friedrich Eberhard von Rochow’s school and agricultural reforms, which were considered the most advanced in Europe at the time. The castle museum is definitely worth a visit, and the Rochow hiking trail is also recommended. If someone near is looking for a restaurant, they’ll find one only after a considerable distance—about 10 km by car. I knew that beforehand and had packed some sandwiches for the evening.
