I appreciated the staff’s attentiveness and promptness, especially Alison at the restaurant who was extremely helpful at breakfast, and Joelma who was very supportive; because I drink a lot of tea, they gave me an electric kettle to use in the room, which was very thoughtful. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh options. The bed was very comfortable with a great mattress, the private pool was nice, and the chalet was a good size. The shower was weak, seemed dirty, and sprayed water everywhere, so it wasn’t a pleasant shower; the lighting was poor, the bathroom was dark, and there should have been a lamp above the sink. In room 3, the three bedside lamps didn’t work, leaving only the ceiling light. The lock didn’t close properly; to secure the room I had to lift the door and try several times until it locked.

The location and the room were comfortable, but during our stay only we and another couple were in the lodge, so food and drink options were limited.

The service was excellent; the breakfast was very tasty with an amazing view. The house we stayed in was lovely, giving us a home‑like comfort with hotel amenities. The only downside was that the house’s grill was portable and small; otherwise everything was great.
