The location is lovely, right in the heart of the Hoge Veluwe, and the hotel feels atmospheric. Dinner offers simple, solid, tasty dishes, and the warm welcome more than makes up for the few inconveniences. The rooms feel a bit dated, especially the bathrooms, which are either barely functional or clearly past their prime.

The surroundings are nice and the staff greet you warmly. The room is very old‑fashioned, the light didn’t work, the bathroom smelled unpleasant, and the breakfast was disappointing.
