The stay left no wishes unfulfilled. The room was spacious, modern and freshly renovated, and the balcony offered a view of one of Amantea’s landmarks. The bathroom was unusually large, impeccably clean, and well maintained. The location was superb—right on the central square, with cafés, shops and the market just outside the door. Breakfast was served in a café on the square, a lovely way to experience Italian life each morning. Access was convenient with a key‑code on a card, hassle‑free. The train station is about ten minutes on foot, even with luggage. We were also grateful that we could leave our bags in Anthony’s shop after check‑out for a while. Thanks for the friendly and uncomplicated service, and for the excellent value. Amantea itself was a real surprise: a dreamy seaside spot, still quiet and not overly touristy, which made the stay special. A top tip for the evening is the A’Loggia Home Restaurant in the old town, opened only in July. It was one of the best restaurants we’ve ever eaten at. The tiny home restaurant sits on Amantea’s rooftops, has only a few tables, and offers a very personal atmosphere with a view from the old town to the sea. The multi‑course fish menu was superb and the whole evening an experience. Reserve in advance. We felt completely at ease and would return anytime. 10/10. Thank you, Anthony, for this wonderful stay!
