The host was friendly when we arrived and getting to the city centre by bus was straightforward. The road noise was truly awful—earplugs were suggested in other reviews, but for the price I paid that felt unnecessary. Cars were audible all day and night, as if the windows were open. I stayed two nights and had to deal with a wasp (which I first mistook for a bee) in my room, plus two large spiders and another random bug. I understand it’s an older building, but I’ve never encountered that many bugs in accommodation. The bathroom smelled like wet dog and the water temperature often changed. Wi‑Fi was unreliable and kept dropping, which was frustrating.
