“Will definitely stay at this hotel everytime when we travel to Jakarta.”

This was my fourth time at Holiday Inn Express; the hotel sits right next to Sarinah Mall, making it easy to find food along the road outside, and it’s close to Tanah Abang so grabbing a ride to other spots is simple. The room, bed, and toilet were comfortable and clean, and breakfast offered many tasty options. The lighting felt a bit dim, so while a young couple might enjoy it, a senior couple like us might not.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the Grab locker was decent, but we were assigned a smoking floor even after requesting a non‑smoking room, so the floor’s scent was unpleasant. The hotel breakfast was quite poor and very limited.
