“An unforgettable stay”
We spent a week at Monza and felt welcomed into a family from the moment we arrived. The room was beautifully designed, and Fleur was incredibly helpful, sharing a lot about local culture, language, and nearby spots. Her meticulousness, style, and genuine warmth made it feel like staying with relatives instead of just a hostel. The food was outstanding; one evening we dined at the hostel and Aicha cooked the most delicious meal we’ve had in a long time—she’s a truly talented chef. We’re definitely missing the daily breakfast on the rooftop, which featured homemade juices, coffee, mint tea, breads, fresh fruit, eggs, and other accompaniments, all while enjoying a great sea view and chatting with everyone. The spaces are well thought out: the common area offers board games, a pool table, TV, musical instruments, and plenty of comfy seating. The rooftop is equally well designed, with a surfing trainer, filtered water, a sliding awning for shade, and beautiful, well-kept plants. Having the staff kitchen on the roof is a unique touch. The location is excellent—everything is within walking distance, and there are great coffee shops and mini supermarkets nearby. We also took two days of surf lessons with Samado, who was a fantastic instructor; he created a relaxed, positive, and comfortable atmosphere and chose the best spots for us to learn. I can’t praise Monza enough for everything it offers—you definitely won’t regret staying there!
