The manager welcomed us warmly and treated us kindly. Everything was clean, and the room for three people was generous. Fresh towels were available for free, and the self‑serve breakfast was ready. The location right on the mountain, a popular hiking and sports spot, offers a great view of the mountains, countryside, and sea via stairs to the summit. The gondola station is a 30‑minute walk away. The path to the shops goes down a steep road and back up again. With luggage, a taxi from the station is recommended. The other, modern part of town can only be reached by vehicle (taxi) from the accommodation, but it wasn’t expensive.

This small guesthouse has very friendly hosts. It sits on a hillside, only a 13‑minute walk from the train station, but the climb is very steep, so keep that in mind if you’re traveling with luggage. The kitchen is shared and comes with cutlery, a stove and a microwave. The fridge holds cereal, bread, coffee, eggs, jam and milk, so you can prepare your own breakfast. A large park is nearby, great for hiking, and the cable car is also within walking distance.
