We stayed in a small room on the first floor and were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it was – even though the walls were thin and it was right next to the kitchen/dining area, the built‑in fan kept the noise down, and the tiny bathroom actually fit our needs perfectly. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the shared area with other guests was practical, cozy, and clean, the location in Uji was beautiful, and getting to restaurants and the train was easy.
