The property was clean and everything seemed new. The staff were very friendly and energetic, helping with everything we could. Overall, we liked the stay. The access road to the hotel was in very bad condition. At 4 am, when we woke for the jeep trip to Batur, no water was flowing at all. Also, the bathroom had a sewer smell almost all the time, even though everything seemed new.

This place is a great spot for a couple of nights – really good value for money. The staff were very friendly. Yes, there are flies everywhere in Kintamani – we didn’t find them too bad here (worst in the carpark), but we could enjoy a dip in the pool or sit outside without being too bothered. They arranged a guide for our sunrise hike and a jeep driver, both of whom were excellent. The food was quite basic (which reflects the lower cost of the room). They did their best to accommodate, but if you have dietary requirements it might be better to bring your own supplies.

A very nice welcome from the hosts. A beautiful location for hiking Mount Batur. The lunch was a bit light.
