The reception was good, but despite the nice location and friendly welcome, a few issues fell short: the listing didn’t make it clear that the owner lives in the apartment; the rules were vague in the description; we encountered other rules on arrival, such as an extra fee if lights were left on when we left (we forgot a lamp and were told we wouldn’t pay the fee because we were only out briefly); limited use of the air‑conditioner (we could only turn it on if the temperature was above 30 °C); and the room had a very strong mothball smell.

The place is super close to my office, which is a big plus. The room, however, had a noticeable odor and the cleaning left a lot to be desired. Overall, convenient but not very fresh.

The condo looked great and the location was convenient, but I was blindsided by the owner and her dog hanging around. She kept an eye on how long we stayed in the room, got upset we slept past 10 am, and even said we spent too much time inside. She didn’t let us use the fan, wouldn’t let us have snacks, and the kitchen was always occupied by her or her guests—so no place to eat. On the last day it rained hard and we had nowhere to grab a bite.
