The setting is fantastic and the dinner is highly recommended, yet the single room is very sparsely furnished and out of date, and the price is completely unreasonable; the breakfast was also very simple and not worth the cost.

We stopped here on the return from Italy; the hotel sits beautifully by the lake. The path to the rooms passes the kitchen, where we noticed the smell of frying oil. The lakeside beer garden was very busy, so we took one of the few free tables. Wait times after ordering were acceptable given the crowds. The dinner started off average, my starter was lukewarm; when the main courses arrived it was no better, the dishes were just lukewarm (other guests at nearby tables had the same issue). We declined ketchup/majo for the fries, the bottles had been sitting in the sun on a separate table in the beer garden for a while. My pork roast almost returned to the plate (it was the daily special at a good price), a pity. The next morning's breakfast was tidy and sufficient.

The location was great and the menu was also very good, but the booked room with lake view didn’t exist because trees blocked the entire view, and breakfast was very simple.
