A great villa in the jungle. Very clean, with air conditioning, a fan, a fridge, a gas stove. The host was very friendly, and there were fruit gifts on the table and tea offered. Few mosquitoes. You can lie on a lounge chair and watch peacocks and monitor lizards, while monkeys come to be fed with bananas. Her husband has a tuk‑tuk. I will definitely come back.

The place sits between two beaches, just a 5–10 minute walk to each, and the main street is the same distance away. It’s a quiet jungle spot filled with monkeys, peacocks, hornbills, and palm squirrels. The room has everything you need: fridge, washing machine, AC, fan, and a small kitchen with basic cookware. The hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any question, genuinely trying to help. Dana treats us with snacks daily, and Ruvan arranged a great transfer to Turtle Beach, bringing fruits and gifts along. Breakfast and dinner can be ordered on demand, and they cook excellently! Highly recommend!!!

I stayed in a guesthouse right in the jungle, only a five‑minute walk from Jungle Beach and Unawatuna Beach. The first night the monkeys greeted us! The hospitality was spot on. Shout‑out to the nephew’s kitchen at the Center Point restaurant next door—delicious local dishes always served with a smile. Thanks for the gifts, and the location‑price ratio is great. One note: the room is a homestay, so you share the host’s house and the sound insulation can be an issue.

The spot is perfectly situated in the jungle, very quiet and cozy. The hosts are fantastic, answering any query instantly and helping with everything. The room is spacious, with a terrace and a kitchen where you can cook, plus a fridge, AC, and fan. From the terrace you can watch peacocks, monkeys, and squirrels. Ten minutes on foot takes you to the great Jang Beach—soft sand, easy entry, almost no waves. The water temperature is comfortable anytime.

The host was friendly and served us dinner on the first evening. The AC was very loud the first night because it wasn’t well anchored, causing annoying vibrations; the host fixed it somewhat the next day, but it still wasn’t quiet. When our water ran out we asked the host for drinking water; he kindly gave us a large canister, claiming it was potable. Since it was an unsealed bottle with a slight odor, we assumed it was tap water. Unfortunately the water didn’t agree with us and caused digestive issues. I think the host should have made it clear that tourists might not tolerate that water and should not offer it as drinking water in the future.
