The hotel is close to Tainan University of Science and Technology, but the surrounding area feels a bit desolate with few shops and inconvenient public transport. Nonetheless, the hotel itself is excellent—probably the newest in Tainan. The rooms and bathrooms are spacious and bright, with a sleek modern décor and herbal toiletries that I really liked. The breakfast was the most impressive: I saw ice cream, seafood risotto, and the famous Tainan beef soup, and the staff were very attentive in explaining the dishes. Unfortunately, I had to leave early for a business trip and couldn’t leisurely enjoy the breakfast. Because of environmental concerns, the hotel does not provide disposable items like toothbrushes or combs; they’re available for purchase in the lobby at 10 NT each, which is somewhat inconvenient, but it’s a global trend and modern travelers are expected to bring their own personal hygiene items.

The room was clean, but the soundproofing was terrible; I could hear the alarm and shouting from the room next door early in the morning. I also had to wait over 30 minutes for a breakfast spot. Parking was a hassle because I had to park outside, and there were very few indoor parking spots.

As someone who’s been there before, I can confirm that the hotel’s reviews are spot on. Even though it’s a hotel, it feels more like an amusement park, and my kids had a blast. The food was surprisingly high quality—there was even ice cream at the dining area, which made the whole experience fantastic. We stayed on a weekday, so the rates were reasonable. If you’re staying on a holiday and find the price high, just remember that the hotel itself has no issues; if it feels expensive, that’s your perception.
