The parking was available, there was a pool, and across from it a public beach path; the air conditioning was cool and we could check in early.

The spacious room was lovely and the pool was pleasant, but the evening and night noise from the nearby bar and Thai boxing ring was disruptive, and we only got two towels for four people.

What caught my eye was the price that still included a pool, and the breakfasts were hearty and tasty even though the selection was limited; the beach is about a 10‑minute walk to the central area or just across the road if you prefer a quieter swim, and a Macro hypermarket and a 7‑11 are nearby, with housekeeping available on request at the front desk, though otherwise a broom and dustpan were left on the floor for guests to sweep themselves, while the mattress felt quite firm and took me three days to get used to, and water would collect in front of the bathroom door because the tiles aren’t set at an angle, forcing me to constantly wipe it away with a rubber shoe like a car wiper.
