I stayed in a room that felt much cleaner, modern, and newly furnished. The breakfast, however, was self‑served and very plain, offering only crispbread, butter, and jam, which made eating in the room less enjoyable.

The view was stunning, set in the countryside just outside Bologna, and the staff were warm and helpful. Yet, the GPS directions led you astray, though large signs from that point onward directed you correctly; the surrounding area is agricultural, dotted with grapevines, olive trees, and narrow roads.

The scenery was beautiful. The person who welcomed us was polite. The building itself looked ugly but was spotless. It’s an industrial‑style structure that has converted the top floor into what I think are party rooms and some rooms. It’s not very cozy, but it was impeccably clean, and we were in a hurry to find a place to sleep.
