It’s a 10‑minute walk from the city centre and I was warmly welcomed when I arrived. The whole place smells horribly of cold cigarette smoke (and I’m a smoker). The equipment is outdated and the cleaning leaves much to be desired. I couldn’t get a receipt even after several requests.

The staff, especially at reception, were very friendly and helpful, and there’s a parking lot just behind the hotel. The hotel is about 300 meters from Kemeralti Market, but its hilly location makes walking a bit troublesome.

The accommodation’s location and the room’s size are nice, and the view is pretty. We booked a Junior Suite for two adults and two kids aged 5 and 9, expecting four beds. When we arrived, only the double bed was made; the sofa and armchair were there but not set up, so we had to ask the front desk for extra sheets and towels to create the beds. The windows weren’t well insulated, so noise seeped in, and the curtain was half‑loose. Overall, everything seemed a bit sloppy, and there was a bad smell in both the room and the bathroom. We couldn’t use the Wi‑Fi because there was no password, and the front desk staff didn’t provide any information or put any in the room. On the bright side, the price was among the best in the city. It’s a shame, because with a bit more cleaning and care it would be a place I’d recommend without hesitation.

A nice, big room with great equipment and very clean. The only downside was that it was a smoking room and the smell was present.

The room was better than expected for the price, big not only the room but also the bathroom, very clean. The hotel also has a second free parking lot behind it, which is very important for me. The only complaint is the very steep up and down around the hotel, but that’s a city issue; the hotel itself is simply excellent. When we come to Izmir next time, we’ll only stay here!
