Located ten minutes’ walk from Edinburgh Zoo, Toby Carvery Edinburgh West offers free private parking and a traditional British menu with seasonal vegetables. The airport bus stops 200 m away, reaching Edinburgh Airport in 20 minutes; Haymarket Rail Station is a five‑minute taxi ride, and the International Conference Centre is ten minutes’ drive. Bright rooms feature TVs, tea‑coffee facilities, en‑suite bathrooms with free toiletries and hairdryers.

The room turned out bigger than I expected, and the bathroom had a strong, pleasant shower; a kettle for tea was a nice touch. Staying on the side of the main building kept outside noise to a minimum, and the large TV with free channels kept my daughter entertained. The location was close to the zoo and the city centre by bus. The only downside was the pillows—they felt lumpy and didn't provide enough support. I could hear the upstairs shower, but it wasn't a major issue.

The staff were excellent, knowledgeable, and helped me navigate the city; the food was amazing, especially the gammon that will stay on my mind for years. My room was a bit cold and the bathroom had a mildew smell, but that didn't bother me much.

El personal era excepcionalmente amable. Teníamos el desayuno buffet contratado y 2 días no pudimos disfrutarlo porque teníamos tours muy temprano. Nos prepararon una bolsa con zumo, plátano, magdalenas y croissant para que nos lo pudiéramos llevar. Aunque tienes la parada de bus en la puerta y varios autobuses te sirven para ir al centro, es cierto que pilla un poquito lejos (trayectos de 20min aprox)
