The shower water was strong and hot, the indoor lighting and ventilation were excellent, and the staff were helpful.

The hotel was quiet, clean, comfortable, and peaceful; my room and bathroom were basic, functional, and tidy, and the staff were kind and very helpful, booking taxis for me, assisting with luggage, and offering advice. It was a wonderful opportunity to spend a few quiet days exploring the very busy area around Boudnath and to hear the sounds of students in Tharlam Buddhist Monastery going about their daily prayers and tasks, but carrying my bag up two flights to my room was a hassle (the staff offered to help but I was stubborn).
