“OK place to stay in your way to Chaco Canyon”
The Frontier motel seems to be the only functioning motel in Cuba, and that alone is worth mentioning; we stayed there on our way to Chaco Canyon, and it was pleasant, clean, and comfortable enough for a night’s rest, far better than the reviews suggested. The only issue was the shower’s hot water – I struggled for ages to get it on, called the attendant who also found it difficult, and even after it finally worked it never reached hot, just lukewarm, which was a problem since we were traveling in the summer heat and couldn’t skip a shower.
