“Each year is dirtier and less desirable….great location step it up!”

The receptionist at check‑in was very nice, but the next day the staff were clueless about a severely gross stench in the lobby elevator that could be smelled in the breakfast room; the wet, stained, stench‑laden elevator throw rug needed to be destroyed! The smell was present from check‑in through check‑out—no excuses!

The rooms were spacious and well equipped, the proximity to the lake was a real plus, and the atmosphere was friendly with breakfast included. The pool was a real plus, though it was a bit smaller than expected.

“Great !”

The location was nice, just in front of the port, and we enjoyed evening and morning walks along the lake; we stayed in a back room that was very calm, clean, and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was nice but should include vegetarian options; aside from that, everything was pleasant.

“We were treated very well by the staff, and we enjoyed the continental breakfast.”

The breakfast was delicious and had plenty of options. The location had easy access to, and was close to Presque Isle where we spent a good bit of our time. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bed was a bit harder than we prefer, but not awful. It would have been nice to have a cushioned chair in our room, (we had a room with 2 queen beds). It did have an office chair, which was helpful. This part wasn't on them, but I was wishing that I would have called the front desk sooner about the noisy people in the room next door. The staff resolved the problem quickly, and were very apologetic about it
