“Would’ve been 10/10 if it weren’t for the unpleasant smell”
The view and location are great, but the mattress had a noticeable urine smell.

Free off‑road parking, and our room, Sandcastle, was very clean with towels wrapped in plastic, plus the usual coffee, tea, shower gel, and soap. However, upon entering the property there was a strong scent of cannabis and tobacco smoke; the room opposite ours also smelled heavily of tobacco. When we entered Sandcastle, a faint cannabis odor lingered and the tobacco from the neighboring room seeped in. The room was compact, lined from wall to ceiling with wooden paneling, and it was very hot in mid‑September; opening the sash window didn’t help. We sent a message to the company about the smoke, and they replied the next day just as we were about to leave.
The abbey view was amazing, and free on‑site parking was a big improvement over the street lottery. The view was slightly marred by a dirty window.
