“A very enjoyable stay, nothing to complain about.”
The buffet breakfast was a real treat, offering a wide variety of healthier options compared to a cooked spread, and we loved that. Nothing else to add.
The room was lovely, clean, and the beds were comfortable; it sat on the ground floor, which was perfect for my husband who doesn't like stairs. They let us drop off our luggage early, so we didn't have to lug it around all day, and we could use the dining room for our takeaway meal, which was very kind. The hosts were lovely and friendly. The only downside was that it was a bit far to walk if you're not good at walking, but it was close enough for those who are fit; my kids and I were fine with the walk.
We were welcomed warmly upon arrival, and the happy vibe created by Pete, the owner, was noticeable. Parking was available on the forecourt, and the self‑service breakfast was hassle‑free. Tea, coffee, and biscuits were provided in the room. The only drawback was the small bathroom.
We stayed close to the harbour and the town, and the owner was extremely friendly, making us feel right at home. The place felt a little outdated, though.
