“great value on the outskirt of town”
The room felt stylish and the bedding was comfortable, with shower products sourced locally and a generous spread of refreshments.
“Very convenient and suited our purpose”
It was a great motel room for our one‑night stay. The price was reasonable and it was fairly close to Daylesford main street.
“Would be happy to stay again.”
The accommodation was modern and smart, with nice touches like art books and pretty crockery, offering great value.
“Excellent accommodation, I would go there again.”
The space was roomy and comfortable, equipped with everything needed, and the bed and sheets were excellent; a couch and chairs were handy, and there was plenty of room for luggage. The shower worked well, and the selection of art books by contemporary Victorian artists was a nice touch for our painting weekend. Check‑in was handled through a series of emails explaining how to retrieve the key from the key safe, followed by a confirmation email to ensure everything was fine. The fridge was tiny and barely fit our food and drinks, and the room sat next to a depot where trucks and forklifts operated early in the morning, around 6 am. It was a Friday, so the noise stopped on Saturday morning, but it was quite loud.
“Beautifully presented large room. Not your typical motel.”
The room was beautifully presented, large, with a lovely rain shower and excellent staff communication; the bed was fantastic and I slept the best. The only problem was the small fridge, which kept turning off and defrosting, then turning on and freezing again, which was not great because we had meat to refrigerate. Sam was great, though there was nothing he could do about it.
