The room was nice, but the motel overall was disappointing. The elevator was broken, forcing us to haul our suitcases up several flights of stairs; parts are apparently being machined in Germany. I would not recommend staying there in the near future. In the lobby there were two individual coffee pots, one of which was broken, and a large travel group was staying there, so the line for the only working pot was very long. Very disappointing.

Friendly staff and a breakfast spread that had plenty of tasty choices, but I booked a king with a jetted tub and was given a room that had none. The explanations I received about why the room I paid for wasn’t available kept changing, and I never got a definitive answer; management said the room would only be free the next night, so I had to stay elsewhere for a day. That temporary room had stained chairs, and when I finally moved into the booked room—located under the stairs—I could hear people going up and down all night because the elevator was broken. I asked for at least a partial refund, but management told me Booking had to request it; a Booking representative had promised to submit the claim a few days earlier, yet I still haven’t received any refund, even though I didn’t get the room I booked.

I arrived to find a broken elevator with no prior notice or price reduction, and I found a better hotel elsewhere. The failure to disclose the broken elevator until September was unacceptable.

The property left a lot to be desired; the elevator was out of order and the staff were rude.
