The place was quiet and peaceful, a large house that comfortably fit four people with plenty of space and stunning natural surroundings that felt very Swedish. The beds were great and I slept very well. There was a washing machine, dryer, and dishwasher. The living room was spacious. We didn’t cook and were just the two of us, so I can’t comment on the kitchen equipment. The fridge was big, and the freezer had four drawers – all very practical! There were enough patio chairs to eat outside. The horses weren’t right next to the cabin but a bit further into the woods. The owners were friendly but kept to themselves, which we appreciated for privacy. The path to the lake goes through meadows with horses or cows and isn’t marked, so don’t think you’re staying by a small lake. It’s good to know you can pay for a final cleaning (info is in the cabin) and rent sheets, but that wasn’t clear before we left for Sweden.
