“Location, location, location”

Being close to BC Place and downtown was a big plus. The front‑desk staff were just average, but one house‑keeper went above and beyond when the elevators jammed after the Bruno Mars Concert on the evening of Oct 14th, taking us through the staff elevator to clear the congestion.

I believe this was the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at! I did pay more than I’d like, but it was the only option left in the city with a good spot. Location-wise, it was excellent: a short walk to Gastown and the Harbour, a Skytrain station nearby, and it’s on the opposite side of the street from BC Place Stadium. A rarely mentioned advantage is that many tours depart from the adjacent block or directly in front of the hotel. The facilities were immaculate, with spacious rooms that were spotless and stocked with small comforts like slippers, moisturizers, and coffee. The lobby smelled so inviting that I felt at home every time I entered, thanks to the familiar fragrance. The highlight was the service: front‑desk staff were extremely attentive, answering all my questions, giving outstanding restaurant recommendations, and resolving payment issues clearly. It felt like the golden age of concierges. I have no complaints about my experience. The hotel is priced higher than what I’m used to paying, which is probably why I was so pleasantly surprised by the amenities and quality.

Nothing to say positively. The room was dirty – I found a cart with dirty clothes in front of our room.
